What is Sixth Sense Horsemanship?

Definition – A conscious awareness of the inner nature of your horse.

Is it a style of riding?

I would not call it a style as such. It is a development within yourself that will absolutely enlighten and amaze you.  It is way more than just sitting on a horse and trying to control it. Its connecting to the horse with your energy through your mind and body, and influenceing the horse by having your ideas become the horses ideas. This can be incorporated into any traditional styles of riding.

How is it different to what I already know or what other people have taught me?

It’s a connection with the horse that can only be learnt through experience under the right guidance and tuition. It is not something you can learn through a book. It is through interaction with the horse that you will realise what horses have to teach you.

Sixth Sense Horsemanship is:

Developing a relationship with your horse based on mutual respect.

Starting with the love for your horse, learning their language and becoming the decision maker and leader.

It’s using your mind spirit and body to communicate to your horse.

It’s Being In The Now for your horse.

Joining a Sixth Sense Horsemanship clinic you will discover your potential and reveal your dream horse.

What is your dream horse like?

           My dream horse

      Comes when he’s called.

Puts his head in the head collar for me

Picks up his feet when asked

Lowers his head and opens his mouth for me to put the bridle on.

Makes it easy for me to saddle him

Looks out for me on the ground and in the saddle.

Lets me climb all over him and under him.

Takes me where I want to go.

      When I want to go.

The speed I want to go

Always says yes I will try my best

Loads himself into the horse float when I ask.

Makes me feel great every time I am with him

I love it when he Closes his eyes when I want to wash his face down
